Connection and Synchronicity
Hello, my friend ~
There is a phrase my grandma used to say whenever we called each other at the same time. She’d hear my voice and exclaim, “Mentl Tepl!” which meant she was about to call me just as she answered the phone to discover me calling her.
This was in the time of landlines, before cell phones and caller id. By comparison, the way we use phones in today’s world would make it appear as though every time we answered the phone back then was a bold act of courage into the unknown.
Through the years, my appreciation and capacity for experiencing synchronicity has grown. Rather than risk dismissing it by thinking of it as a mere coincidence, I choose to recognize the energetic quality of presence required for such moments to happen.
In her book, The Awakened Brain, Lisa Miller, PhD, affirms the science of spiritual awareness, its impact on how we view the world, and how this shapes our behavior. As our awareness broadens, we increase our capacity for experiencing synchronicity and its positive effects.
Connection represents one of the most fundamental ways we can nourish ourselves. The more we connect, the greater our chance to experience moments of synchronicity, which fuels other healthy feelings.
This frame of reference motivates my intentional work to create opportunities for people to engage in learning as well as peer support.

Friday Fusion launched in January and is continuing into February, with many thanks to all those who have joined so far. Friday Fusion is open to anyone who wants to participate. This Friday, February 6th, is free of charge.
Wednesday Wisdom is my next project, set to launch in April. My inspiration for these groups comes from the conversations and people with whom I interact daily. By coming together in community for education and camaraderie, we build stronger networks for meaningful connection.
Wherever you are on your own journey, please know you are always welcome here.
In inspired synchronicity,
