Karen Faith Gordon, LMSW, LCSW, CDP, CGCS, RYT-200
Founder & Director of Karen Faith, LLC, Psychotherapist, Group Facilitator, Public Speaker, and Writer working in West Bloomfield, Michigan. A leading expert in aging, dementia, and caregiver wellness, her work helps clients navigate the aging journey with confidence and compassion. A dynamic public speaker, Karen has presented to local professional and community groups, with additional appearances on numerous podcasts. With more than 30 years of experience in the arena of aging, her expansive knowledge comes from work in both macro and micro settings. Karen is uniquely positioned to guide individuals and families through the most challenging decisions related to sustaining optimal health and well being throughout the aging process.
Karen earned her BA and MSW from The University of Michigan. Her scope of practice includes expertise in dementia, grief & loss, and mindful self-compassion. To achieve a higher embodiment of her yoga practice, Karen completed yoga teacher training, which has seamlessly complemented her work as a mental health therapist. In her private practice work, she uses traditional talk therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Nonviolent Communication, and Mindful Self-Compassion.
Karen’s greatest passion is her family, from whom she derives inspiration, encouragement, and unconditional love. “The support of my family is priceless and irreplaceable. My greatest wish is to be a demonstration to them of what is possible when we choose to see life through the lens of possibility.”
