Welcome to the Human Condition

Hello, dear friend ~

The idea that we gather wisdom with time, while mere moments go by unnoticed, is profound. I am blessed to have reached an age and stage of life where I deeply appreciate this message, and find comfort in its universal relevance.

Understandably, days can feel rushed in order to accomplish a long to-do list, or conversely, hours may feel long when we no longer have as much activity to fill them. In either case, the years do indeed reveal more than what we tend to see in our day-to-day life.

Because humans are meaning makers who want to make sense of most everything, we are often quick to label or fill in gaps with assumptions in order to complete the story. Many of you have heard me say, “In the absence of information, we make up stories.” Welcome to the human condition! :)

My notes are intended to connect with you, the reader, which is why I’ve decided to share personal news, both in the interest of authenticity, as well as to dispel potential misinformation.

Let’s start with: I am well. I am grateful. I am healthy. I have a medical issue to resolve this month, which is requiring me to s l o w down for the next several weeks. My calendar took an unexpected turn, and I am grateful for the kindness and flexibility shown by clients in rescheduling appointments.

Our groups are going to restart in April. I am SO EXCITED for the many new offerings being planned as we head into spring, summer, and beyond at Karen Faith, LLC.

And, I hope to see many of you at the Happy Hearts Day Networking Event I am hosting on Friday morning, February 7th!

I look forward to being in touch and sharing updates in my mid-month note. May the days bring continued resilience, as the years teach us how strong we all are.

In good health,
