Sitting With You

Happy Autumn, Friends ~

Since my last Note, there are more leaves on the ground and more colors in the trees. This physical manifestation of change happening before my eyes is a sound metaphor for my own inner workings. The movement of one season to another reminds me that loosening the grip of holding onto what was allows me to see the richness of what's ahead. On the other side of my initial unease with the change of season, I gratefully find myself feeling more grounded, both emotionally and physically.

Being grounded offers a sense of calm and balance. Less likely to be swayed by emotions, a sense of being fully present and connected prevails, with a clear mind and a balanced emotional state. From this headspace, stress can be managed more effectively, and creativity happens.

With this as my guidepost, I am launching new initiatives in 2026 to support all of us in grounding together. Beginning on Fridays in January 2026, I will lead a weekly online gathering called Friday Fusion, where we will spend 30 minutes sitting together as I guide exercises in mindfulness, seated stretching, and a brief talk to uplift and support a positive mindset.

Consider this an invitation to spend 30 minutes dedicated to your well-being. Together, we'll greet the end of the week with a resounding exhale as we enter the weekend with an inspired inhale.
